Ken Greer is a corporate finance, business development, and operations professional with demonstrated expertise in designing and executing strategic plans to support high growth. He has a track record of identifying, assessing, and leading new business expansion projects and programs. He has a keen understanding of the major business drivers for growth-oriented companies and is experienced in debt and equity financings and acquisition-related due diligence and analytics.
Ken is a Managing Director of Green Sage, LLC. Prior to founding Green Sage, Ken co-founded Blue Sage Advisory, LLC, a Colorado-based financial advisory firm providing Private Placement, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Financial Advisory services for emerging Impact Enterprises in the Healthy, Active & Sustainable Living Industry nationally.
Ken worked with the management of Love Grown Foods to develop a dynamic financial model and sales forecast, assess and streamline the company’s full supply chain, design and implement a product development timeline, and manage cash flows to meet working capital needs in support of rapid growth. Ken also managed the national sales force of over 60 sales consultants at Harrow Sports, implementing numerous marketing and promotional programs to boost sales growth.
Previously, Ken spent six years in investment banking with Wachovia as a Debt Capital Markets Analyst in Charlotte and Associate in London. During his time with Wachovia, he managed transaction efforts to structure and execute deals generating over $30 million in annual revenues. He researched financial markets, conducted detailed due diligence, analyzed acquisition financings, developed marketing materials and roadshow presentations, drafted management proposals, and conceptualized capital solutions for consumer retail, media & telecom, and international corporate clients.
Ken received a MBA from The Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Cornell University with a BA in Sociology. Ken currently lives in Denver, and in his spare time he enjoys playing squash, skiing, golf, travel, and is a passionate foodie and aspiring chef.
